Price Move with little Upward/Downward Slope.Strength of Support and resistance

Stock price movement has different style. Sometimes stock price move very slowly to upwards. ie. Price moves to upward direction very slowly (little slope). That type of movement always break previous high/low.


Here is Chart the stock price move upward very slowly. every day price breaks previous day high but it does not move as much as to upmove. Be carefull to trade on this type of chart. Previous day High Breakout Strategy will not give much result in this type of chart.

In every Higher high Higher Low pattern, resistance will be weak (Not strong) Compared to Support (and Viceversa) Here also Resistance is weak.

 Be carefull trading on consolidation with

BPCL In the above chart BPCL was in downtrend for the past 2 to 3 days. But the stock is in sideways in last 2 days. Here 710 act as Resistance and 696 Act as Support. The stock is trading between it's resistance and support area after a down move. It may be just a consolidation. If the Stock Break the Resistance (710) and stay above it, The trend be considered and changed from down to up. (Buy can be initiated). If it break resistance, 723 area is next resistance level.
